My Combo Spin
13 medium wool top, hand dyed braids, randomly combined in a combo spin. Spun on my Daedalus Magpie 2, SFD, for a 2 ply worsted weight yarn. Braids include:
Sheepspot - BFL Cultivate & Christmas in July. Shropshire Still Waters Run Deep & Register One. Targhee Possibility Days, Beautiful Decay, May Flowers, Bird's Nest & 2 Ascend.
Deep Dyed Yarns - Targhee Sea Glass & Kodiak. Polwarth Kodiak.
Sweater pattern used is Chroma Cardigan by Barry Klein from Interweave.
Role
Handspinning the yarn is complete. Knitting is in process.
To spin a large enough quantity of 2 ply yarn to knit a sweater from, using different colorways of hand dyed wool top braids and the combo spin method to manage how the colors appear in the yarn.
